The occasion of planning a coastal space under continual distortion, a space modifying itself in a brief time and existing within the limits of what has already been built (merging into a reality not experimented and defined) has suggested a particular project. It exemplifies actual life with the same space rhythms and doubts of the time. It's an undefined zone, without a clear limit. Here it's necessary to undertake a new experiment, new materials, within modern architecture, but at the same time antique within early architecture.
This space comes back to the NATURE where human being and nature are the same thing with no absolute supremacy.
It's is a space that changes shape, consistency, places and contents across the elapsing of the time (seconds, minutes, hours or years).
The whole project is based on shape research along the time, with a rhythm created by a modular and elastic net with eventual stratifications.

Houses are conceived in the same way with a sequence of "septa" creating an interchanging and diversifying space.
That conception underlines a real will in making a space where differences can live together. The module can allow many different solutions, for every social and economical standard.
Differences create a new culture and wealth : architectural experimentation needs disputes to properly grow up.
For us there are no limits to diversity and for that reason we dream architecture and town-planning able to unify elements.
Space and time are relative. Why don't make a project of the question about this fusion ?
The announcement of this competitive examination requests agree with the limits to follow and they are themselves the starting point. Thinking about the catamaran as sea architecture, example of lightness on water, we had the idea to use a double hull that become a passage-way with a circular shape possibility similar to between decks of the ships.

This solution is optimal in case of tide variations becoming a light foundation system if need be for its shape that can be easily carried to the shore.
The system is based on modules repetition with building requirements and living necessities (fornitures, passages etc.)
In this case repetition is a compatibility method within each part, operating simplicities, production economy, easy union of the components and possible change during the time. The arrangement of different elements can make these habitations flexible to every necessity having an "abacus" of variations : everybody is free to change its house in every moment.
Houses need to be anchored in pre-established points which become a supply system in the urban frame and then a connection system moreover support for every function of energy supply, waste clearance..
There is an independent system for energy production recycling rain water, radiant heating and fotovoltaic panels easy connection : they can make living a partial independence.
Finishing touches and materials (wood, steel, glass, cork, cloth..) tend to harmonise with maritime architecture and try to respect habitat natural balances.
Open and closed spaces are a marked sequence of opaque and transparent panels and they can be interrupted by a partial darkening lowering curtains-sails over the glass parts.
