The water neighbourhood «The Sea Star». Code PAC005 Why do we, humans live on earth and not on water? When we think about it, it is only because it is easier for us to setle on earth although it is completely natural to live on water. We do after all come from water. With the increase of the water levels mankind has started to think about it and deal with it as a problem. But water is the most important element of nature with the potential of producing energy. The making of a house on water is also related with its energy and with the capacity that we, humans have to invent machines that float. This is the reason why our project is a machine to live in and at the same time to create energy for itself. Star shaped , the enclosure structure has an aqua-dinamic form that gives it the capacity to float. This structure can be situated anywhere where water can be found. It floats and it is fixed on a vertical element that do not let it go away. There are cables fixed on the extremities of the arms that don't let the structure spin. The connections to the earth are made by boat and by connecting bridges to the main roads of the structure. In the center of the structure is a water energy transformator which feeds the small energy containers from the houses. Between the mainroads is a web-like floating structure where the houses and gardens are located in a alternate sequence. This distribuition allows a light transparency of the overall view. There are individual and familiar houses. The concept for the houses is a module that by having one floor is only suitable for one person and by adding a floor is suitable for a small family. The repeation of the module gives us the possibility of a faster production and the relocation of the dwellings. This solution allow us to build a water neighbourhood pleasant to the view, energeticaly self suficient, durable and with the potential to suit itself to the new and chaging needs of its dwellers.
